3.Padma Giant (Rafflesia Arnoldi), Puspa Rare.

Padma Giant (Rafflesia arnoldi) are set to complete a rare flower Jasmine White (puspa nation) and Phalaenopsis (puspa charm). In addition to being one of the national flower, Rafflesia arnoldii also become flora identity of Bengkulu province.
Rafflesia arnoldii or giant lotus plants that are endemic to Sumatra is one of about 30 species of Rafflesia are found in Southeast Asia, ranging from the Malayan peninsula, Borneo, Sumatra, and the Philippines. Named because of the size of a giant lotus flower that can reach a diameter of 100 cm with a weight of 10 kg.
Herbs defined as a rare flower has no stem, leaves, and the actual root. This plant endoparasit live on their host plants. The only parts of the plant Rafflesia can be seen outside of their host plants is the flower crowned five.
Until now Rafflesia arnoldii never succeeded bred outside their natural habitat and if the root or its host tree dies, Raflesia will go dead. Therefore Raflesia require primary forest habitat to survive. Perhaps because of this that later became the basis of the consideration so determined as a giant lotus flower rare Indonesia. Together with white jasmine (puspa nation) and orchids months (puspa charm), Rafflesia arnoldii become Indonesia's national flower.

The three flowers are the pride of Indonesia is expected to represent the characteristics of the Indonesian state and nation. Therefore, the three then set as the flowers (puspa) Indonesian national.
