The national flower of Indonesia

Based on wikipedia that the national flower is a flower that can represent the characteristics of a nation and state. The National Interest Indonesia are the three types of flowers that set by the government in hopes of representing the characteristics of Indonesian state and nation.


The national flower of Indonesia, which consists of three types of interest is determined based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia No. 4/1993 regarding signed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Suharto.
Species of interest designated as a national interest in the earlier decision is:
     * white jasmine (Jasminum sambac) as the nation puspa

     * Orchids months (Phalaenopsis amabilis) as puspa charm and
     * a giant lotus flower (Rafflesia arnoldii) as a rare flower.
